JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD) has promised to pay off the salaries of other individual service providers (PJLP) that have not yet met the provincial minimum wage (UMP) 2023.

Head of the DKI Jakarta BPKD's Standards Expenditure Management Unit, Meriani Jasara, said that payment of salary shortages would be paid after discussing changes to the 2023 APBD.

Meriani reasoned that the payment of PJLP salaries within the DKI Provincial Government which did not match the UMP value in 2023 could occur due to technical problems, namely system errors.
"When we prepared the 2023 price standard, at that time there was indeed a new UMP of Rp. 4.9 million. However, at that time there were several obstacles, so for 2023 the figure in the 2022 UMP is still Rp. 4.6 million," he said.

Previously, Commission A of the DKI Jakarta DPRD questioned the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government regarding the issue of paying PJLP salaries that had not been adjusted to the 2023 UMP.
