JAKARTA - PT Transport Jakarta (TransJakarta) starting Saturday (10/6) allows residents of DKI Jakarta and its surroundings to remove masks while using the transportation service. "Based on directions from the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta and DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, all TransJakarta customers are allowed not to wear masks within our fleet," said Head of the TransJakarta Corporate Secretary and Public Relations Division Apriastini Bakti Bugiansri in a written statement in Jakarta as reported by Antara, Sunday. He explained, this is in accordance with the Circular Letter of the Perhububgan Service (SE Dishub) DKI Jakarta Province Number 26 of 2023 concerning Health Protocol Implementation Appeals within Sarana and General Transportation Infrastructure for Transition Towards Endemic Period.. "In addition, TransJakarta users are allowed to remove masks because they see the development of control of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) which is getting better. However, if TransJakarta bus customers are in an unhealthy condition, it is still recommended to use masks properly and correctly.
