Megawati Asks Ganjar To Be Shown Authentics, Rationals, And According To Characters In The 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - General Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri wants presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo to be displayed as it is in the 2024 presidential election. The Governor of Central Java must be introduced authentically and in accordance with his character that is already known to the people.

This was conveyed when closing the PDIP National Working Meeting (Rakernas) III at the PDIP DPP Party School, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, Thursday, June 8

"Yesterday we discussed, Mr. Ganjar, what kind of performance do you want to show? And I confidently, haqul yakin, I said show Pak Ganjar authenticly, rationally, and according to his character that blends with grassroots," said Ganjar.

He said, there is no need to change someone's character. Because, the First President of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno always appears as he is.

"If we look at Bung Karno, from a young age, until he died, beliay could present his own name. Yes, Bung Karno is Bung Karno," said Megawati.

Previously, PDIP held a National Working Meeting III since Tuesday, June 6. There were 17 external recommendations produced and 57 internal recommendations read out by PDIP DPP Chair Puan Maharani.

One of the contents of the recommendation is the PDIP's commitment to win Ganjar Pranowo as president in the 2024 presidential election. Then, this party is determined to run elections by educating the nation.
