Zulhas: PAN Respects Offering PDIP Support Ganjar In The Presidential Election

JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan said his party appreciated and respected the PDI-P's offer to jointly support Ganjar Pranowo's presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

"Of course, PAN really appreciates and respects the offer. PAN has also been close to Pak Ganjar. PAN has known and followed in the footsteps of Pak Ganjar's leadership for a long time," said Zulhas, Zulkifli Hasan's nickname.

Zulkif conveyed this to the ranks of the PAN Central Kalimantan Regional Leadership Council (DPW) on the sidelines of the Regional Working Meeting (Rakerwil) II at the M. Balalap Hotel Ballroom, Central Kalimantan, Saturday.

However, he continued, in deciding a figure who is supported as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election, PAN needs to formulate and convey this in detail to internal parties. Zulkifli emphasized that the views and all input from all PAN cadres needed to be heard.

"The views and inputs of all cadres need to be heard. The goal is that all political machines owned by PAN can run in rhythm," he added.

In the future, Zulhas ensured that PAN would carry out further communication with the PDI-P through PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.

"PAN will continue to communicate further with the PDI-P. Moreover, yesterday it was agreed that the PDI-P would also visit the PAN DPP," said Zulhas.
