MAKI Will Give Gifts For The IPhone 11 For Successfully Finding Harun Masiku

JAKARTA - It has been more than a month, the bribe of the former commissioner of the General Elections Commission (KPU) Wahyu Setiawan, Harun Masiku, has become a fugitive and his whereabouts are not certain.

Annoyed by the unclear whereabouts of the PDI-P candidate, the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) held a competition with an iPhone 11 prize for those who were able to share accurate information on Harun's whereabouts.

In addition, the iPhone 11 prize also applies to people who are able to inform information about the whereabouts of the former Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Nurhadi, who is caught in a bribery and gratuity case.

For your information, Nurhadi was named a suspect after receiving money totaling Rp. 46 billion in connection with the processing of civil cases at the Supreme Court. In addition, he was suspected of receiving gratuities but did not report according to existing regulations.

"MAKI will give an iPhone 11 prize to anyone who is able to provide information on the whereabouts of Harun Masiku or Nurhadi so that the information can be used to arrest Harun or Nurhadi by the KPK," said MAKI Coordinator Boyamin Saiman to reporters in his written statement, Monday, February 17.

Boyamin said information related to the two fugitives could be given directly to the KPK, Police, and MAKI with the contact number 081218637589. He said the prize was valid forever and could be followed by anyone.

"The prize consists of two iPhone 11 valid for each information to make Harun Masiku or Nurhadi arrested," he said.

The existence of a competition held by MAKI is actually not new. Previously, they had also held a competition to find the former Chairman of the Indonesian Parliament Setya Novanto in 2017.

MAKI claims, at that time, there was an informant who later managed to inform Novanto's whereabouts, but he did not take the gift which was due to him.

"Since the informant was not willing to accept the prize, Rp10 million has been handed over to the orphanage," he said.

It is known, currently the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has assigned Harun Masiku and Nurhadi to the wanted list (DPO). Harun's current presence is said to be in Indonesia as well as Nurhadi.

Regarding Harun Masiku, this case started on Wednesday, January 8 last. In a silent operation, an anti-graft agency action team secured eight people in Jakarta.

Furthermore, Thursday, January 9, the KPK named four people as suspects in the bribery case related to the interim replacement (PAW) of the members of the DPR RI. They are candidates for PDIP Electoral District of South Sumatra I Harun Masiku; KPU commissioner Wahyu Setiawan; former Bawaslu member and Wahyu's confidant; Agustiani Tio Fridelina; and Saeful who is a private party.
