JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta DPRD held a plenary meeting to announce the dismissal and interim replacement (PAW) of Gerindra faction members on Wednesday, May 31 tomorrow.
PAW was carried out to replace Member of Commission E of the DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD, Mohammad Taufik, who died on May 3.
Deputy Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Khoirudin, explained that the replacement candidates for the Pledge and Pledge of PAW will be taken for the remainder of the 2019-2024 term of office for members of the DKI DPRD from the Gerindra faction, namely Bastian P. Simanjuntak.
"The DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD has received a decree from the Minister of Home Affairs number 100.2.1.3-1158 of 2023 regarding the inauguration of the dismissal of members of the DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD and the Decree of the Minister of Home Affairs number 100.2.1.3-1159 of 2023 concerning the inauguration of the appointment of a replacement between members of the DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD," said Khoirudin, Tuesday, May 30.
Khoirudin hopes that members of the DKI DPRD who will replace M. Taufik can carry out their functions as representatives of the people who prioritize the interests of the citizens of DKI Jakarta.
"I hope that the entry of PAW can increase our strength in the DKI DPRD to fight for the interests of the people together. We in the DKI DPRD are one unit as a legislature to fight to serve the people of Jakarta," he said.
