They will be better prepared after participating in programs in Korea, which are currently leading globally in two important future fields, namely digital technology (digital deal) and green deal technology," said Prof Arif, quoted from Antara, Saturday, May 27.

The delegation was received directly by the Indonesian Ambassador to South Korea Gandi Sulistiyanto and the Education and Culture Attach (Atdikbud) of the Indonesian Embassy in South Korea, Gogot Suharwoto.

Prof. Arif revealed, according to the Ambassador's proposal, one of the breakthrough programs that can be carried out immediately is to build a Global Talent Pool Management Program for the Indonesia-Korean.

In the program, IPB University was asked to prepare the program for finance, agribusiness and smart farming.

Through this program that is integrated with Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM), graduates of IPB University are expected to be better prepared to enter the global market (highly eligible) and be more skilled at entrepreneurship (highly entrepreneurial). They will be better prepared after participating in programs in Korea, which are currently leading globally in two important future fields, namely digital technology (digital deal) and green deal technology," said Prof Arif.

He also stated, through the cooperation platform of IPB University and SNU, the Indonesian Ambassador to Korea also hopes to continue discussions on the formation of a new research consortium involving other universities in Indonesia.

This is considering that SNU is a powerhouse of science and technology (Iptek) with the quality of education and research that is very superior globally.
