The KPK Searched Office, Social Minister: Since 2021 I Don't Want To Distribute Rice Social Assistance

SURABAYA - Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini said that since the beginning of his tenure as minister in 2021 until now he did not want to distribute social assistance (bansos) in the form of rice for Beneficiary Families (KPM) for the Family Hope Program (PKH).

Risma said this because of a direct order from President Jokowi when he inaugurated him as Minister of Social Affairs.

"In 2021 I don't want to distribute rice social assistance. I hold the President's order in the form of money, not goods. If there are goods that are clearly not from us. BPJS PBI is our data, we submit who is the recipient every month replaced by improvements from the regions," he said in Surabaya, reported by ANTARA, Friday, May 26.

The former mayor of Surabaya emphasized that in 2022 there will be social assistance in the form of rice, meaning not from the Ministry of Social Affairs.

"In 2022, there will be social assistance in the form of rice, not from us. I hold it from the President. I hold the President's mandate in the form of money. Oil too, I don't want oil, but in the form of money," said Risma.

Risma said that she had transferred officials suspected of being involved in the case of distributing social assistance rice to KPM PKH for the 2020 period.

"The person concerned has moved, not at the head office," he said.

The mutation, said Risma, was carried out so that the officials involved did not hold a strategic position.

Risma also ensured that the officials were no longer assigned to the Head Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and without a position (non-job) in order to uncover this alleged corruption case.

"Then there is information, I immediately moved involved," he said.
