Head Of DKI Health Office Ngabila Salama Examined By Inspectorate, Motives For Showing Off Rp34 Million On Twitter

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Inspectorate examined the Head of the Epidemiologist Surveillance and Immunization Section of the Health Office, Ngabila Salama since 08.00 WIB after the person concerned showed off his salary of Rp. 34 million on social media.

"God willing, today it is being processed from 8.00 WIB at the DKI Inspectorate," said DKI Jakarta Inspector Syaefuloh Hidayat at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 24.

During the summons, the Inspectorate of DKI will investigate the truth and the motive for the viral statement made by the DKI ASN who showed off the amount of his salary on the Twitter account @Ngabila on May 15, 2023.

"Yes, of course what we are investigating is whether it is true about his expression. Then the motive is why, so that's what we are investigating," said Syaefuloh.

It is known that the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) Head of the Epidemiologist Surveillance and Immunization Section of the DKI Jakarta Health Office Ngabila Salama quoted via the LHKPN page in the 2022 period is only IDR 73,188,080.

Meanwhile, the salary received by Ngabila is IDR 34 million per month. Thus, the DKI Inspectorate will encourage Ngabila to make improvements to the reported LHKPN.

"Yes, that is one of the materials asked by the team. We encourage later the person concerned to repair the LHKPN and we help coordinate with the KPK. This means that all of us officials have an obligation to report their assets through the LHKPN, and all of them must be reported, no one can pass," explained Syaefuloh.

Regarding the sanctions that will be given by Ngabila, Syaefuloh said he was still waiting for the results of the inspection by the Inspectorate team.

"Of course, regarding the sanctions, we will see the results of the team's examination. Now the team is ongoing, and hopefully I can see the results soon and then discuss further. Regarding the imposition of sanctions, of course we are careful in accordance with the facts on the ground," said Syaefuloh.
