Identity Of Sukoharjo Mutilation Victim Revealed Through Finger Sidik

SEMARANG After going through a number of investigations and investigations, the Central Java Police finally revealed the identity of the murder victim of a man whose body was found in the river in the Sukoharjo Regency and Surakarta City in a separate condition, or mutilation.

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes M. Iqbal Alqudusy, said the name of the victim with the initials R, was male, aged 50 years.

"We have obtained the fingerprints of the person concerned or the victim and then we matched them. We got the identity of the victim on behalf of R alias M, a resident of Keprabon Wetan, Surakarta City," Iqbal said in a written statement, Wednesday, May 24.

The identification of the body was revealed from the victim's fingerprints, namely the right thumb, right index, right middle finger, right ring finger, right thumb, left thumb, left index, left center, left ring, left window.

"This is synonymous with the person concerned who has made an ID card. So there is comparative data there," he continued.

Currently, the police are also looking for other evidence such as photos related to dragon images on tattoos on the victim's body.

Iqbal said that currently the police are still taking information from the family, including the closest friends of the victim.

"Still in the context of investigation. We pray that this case can be revealed as soon as possible," explained Iqbal.

Several pieces of the body, including the head, were found in the subsidiaries of the Bengawan Solo River entering the Sukoharjo Regency and Surakarta City, which were found from Sunday, May 21 to Monday, May 22. The forensic team from the Central Java Police for Medical Health (Dokkes) has conducted an examination including an autopsy on the body.

The body parts found consisted of the head, body, right arm, left arm and 1 left leg. Estimated time of death on Thursday 18 May 2023 or about 40 50 hours before being found. Tattoo marks were found on the upper right arm and back of the dragon image.

In the head area there are 2 open wounds in the form of violent sharp objects with the base of the skull bone which cause severe bleeding in the head cavity. The corpse was mutilated in a state of death and drowned. The cause of death is sharp violence in the upper head.
