The Roy Rening Ritangi Scenario For KPK Investigations Was Investigated By Other Lawyers Lukas Enembe

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the way the lawyer for the inactive Papua Governor Lukas Enembe, Stefanus Roy Rening obstructed the investigation into alleged bribery and gratification. This step was taken by examining Aloysius Renwarin's lawyer on Friday, May 20.

"The witness was present and his knowledge was investigated, among others, related to the alleged processing of a scenario plan from the SRR suspect to obstruct the investigation of the suspect LE case," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Saturday, May 20.

Ali did not specify what scenario Stefanus used. However, Aloysius' statement that the team and the suspect were believed to have made clear the alleged obstruction to the investigation that occurred.

Previously, the KPK officially detained one of Lukas Enembe's attorneys, Stefanus Roy Rening, regarding the alleged obstruction to the investigation of bribery, gratification, and money laundering (TPPU) cases. He is suspected of influencing witnesses to build false opinions regarding the work of the anti-corruption commission.

In addition, Roy asked other people who were witnesses in the Lukas Enembe case to give testimonials that were not true. The goal is that the anti-corruption commission gets a negative opinion so that the investigation into the alleged corruption that is running cannot be carried out.

The witness was asked to convey false news at the church in Papua. So, the congregation there was finally provoked.

Not only that, Stefanus also advised other witnesses not to hand over money as a return on the alleged corruption results that were being resolved. The challenge of this investigation has been carried out since the KPK named Lukas Enembe as a suspect.
