KARANGANYAR - Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) General TNI Dr. Dudung Abdurachman again reviewed and examined the readiness of the Task Force Pre-Security Exercise which will carry out operational tasks in Papua as the Mobile Border Security Task Force (Satgas Pamtas). This time, checks were carried out on the 411/Faginary Division (Divif) 2 Kostrad, located in the Tawangmangu training area, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java, Wednesday 17 May.

At the beginning of the activity, Kasad, who was accompanied by Asops Kasad, Aslat Kasad, Kas Kostrad and Kadispenad, received an explanation from the Commander of the Infantry Division (Pangdivif) 2 Kostrad Major General TNI Haryanto as the Training Commander. Furthermore, in his briefing to Yonmek 411/Pandawa soldiers, Kasad emphasized that the checks he did were to ensure the readiness of the units to deal with operational tasks, both in terms of personnel, material readiness, and other equipment.

Kasad also reminded all soldiers to emphasize sincerely in their hearts that the task to be carried out is an honor from the state, in order to safeguard the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

My arrival here was deliberately to check the readiness of the task operation to Papua. Prepare your mentality to deal with any situation in the field of operation. In the area of operation, combat discipline must be higher than at home base. Remember, your prayers must be sacred, pray for danger and for groups that disturb security in Papua and intimidate the Papuan people, to return to the right path," Kasad's message while asking all soldiers not to hesitate in acting, but still following the applicable provisions and rules.

Kasad Dudung Abdurachman also requested that the leadership elements, ranging from the Team Commander to the Battalion Commander, must understand their respective duties, so that they are not wrong in describing orders that can be fatal in their duties. In addition, Kasad advised the leadership elements to pay attention to the welfare of their members. Finally, Kasad emphasized that the lack of equipment for soldiers to support operational tasks will be fulfilled. So that the implementation of the task can run as well as trained and successfully.

At the end of the activity, Kasad Dudung Abdurachman received souvenirs, wrote the impression and message to all soldiers as motivation in carrying out and successful tasks, and provided assistance to support operational tasks.
