JAKARTA - Attorney Pinangki Sirna Malasari told about the beginning of his career as a prosecutor when he read out a note of defense alias pledoi on the case he was being accused of.

"I want to start my personal pledoi by telling my personal life journey as a prosecutor," said Pinangki at the Jakarta Corruption Crime Court (Tipikor), reported by Antara, Wednesday, January 2.

"I was born and raised in the city of Yogya in a very simple family life. At that time I couldn't afford to go to college," said Pinangki.

In 2004, I graduated from my bachelor's degree. After becoming a prosecutor, at the suggestion of her late husband, Pinangki admitted that she focused on self-development by continuing her studies at a higher level until finally obtaining a 2011 doctorate in Law Science.

"My career as a prosecutor has been mediocre and has never held a strategic position. My 10-year history as a prosecutor that I have held is an administrative position that is neither technical nor related as a procurement officer in goods and services procurement projects," said Pinangki.

In 2011 he served as functional prosecutor in the Civil Administration of the State (Datun), in 2012 Pinangki served as functional prosecutor in the Supervision Sector, in 2014 Pinangki served as Echelon 4 as Head of Sub-Directorate for Statistics and Analysis at the Center for Data and Criminal Statistics Information (Pusdakrimti) at the Attorney General's Office Great.

"Then in 2016 he served as Head of Subdivision of Monitoring and Evaluation at the Planning Bureau," said Pinangki.
