Chronology Of Hawker 900 XP Aircraft Slipped At Morowali Airport, Central Sulawesi

JAKARTA - The General Company that organizes the Indonesian Aviation Navigation Service (Perum LPPNPI) or AirNav Indonesia explained the chronology of the flight slip at Morowali Airport, Central Sulawesi (Central Sulawesi).

AirNav Indonesia Corporate Secretary Rosedi said that on Thursday (11/5) at 14:59 WITA there had been a plane crash belonging to PT Angkasa Super Services type Hawker 900 XP with PK-LRU registration.

"The plane with the Halim Perdanakusuma (HLP) route to Morowali Airport (MOH) had an accident when it landed at Morowali Airport due to slipping off the runway or over the runway," Rosedi said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 11.

At the time of the incident, PKP-PK officers and aviation security (Avsec) immediately rushed to the scene and immediately evacuated the crew and passengers.

The position of the plane skidded 200 meters from the end of runway 05.

"Until this statement was issued Thursday (11/5) at 22.00 WIB, flight operations and flight navigation services at Morowali Airport are still temporarily closed," said Rosedi.

An investigation is currently being carried out by the National Transportation Safety Committee (NTSC) for the incident.

Previously, the Central Sulawesi Regional Police stated that the crew and passengers of the plane that had an accident at Morowali Airport were all safe.

"For passengers themselves, they are foreign nationals (WNA) but for where they came from, we don't know yet. However, the explanation is foreigners," explained Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Police, Kombes Djoko Wienartono, in Palu, Thursday (11/5) night.

The derailed plane carried four crew members and four foreign passengers. The four passengers will head to the company in North Morowali, namely PT Gunbuster Nickel Industri (PT GNI), which is a nickel Indonesian smelter industry company in Central Sulawesi.

The passengers were Zhou Yuan, Teh Cha les, Wu Zhiqiang, and Wu Xixiong. Meanwhile, the crew of the plane were a pilot named Kapt Sutisno, a co-pilot named Muh Faisal, a flight attendant named Aisyah, and a technician named Ahmad Riyadi.

"The four passengers were immediately taken to the GNI company, while the four crew members were observationally at the puskesmas," he said.
