Praise From DPR Commission III Members For Komjen Listyo Sigit: You Are A Candidate For Millennial Police Chief

JAKARTA - Member of Commission III DPR RI from the PDI-P Faction Safaruddin praised Komjen Listyo Sigit Prabowo as a candidate for the millennial National Police Chief. This praise was conveyed in the middle of a fit and proper test.

Safarudin assessed that Listyo was a candidate for the National Police Chief who was so millennial because in his presentation he often touched on technological updates to welcome the 4.0 era.

"First, I give my appreciation to Pak Sigit. If I look at the fit and proper material, it is extraordinary. So it gives an idea to the prospective National Police Chief who is in the digital era, millennial. So the candidate for the Head of the Police is millennial," said Safarudin before responding to the presentation of the paper presented by Listyo at before Commission III DPR RI, Wednesday, January 20.

"So we are now entering the millennial era, if the language is cool. This is a cool candidate for the National Police Chief," he added.

This praise was then continued by applause from the fit and proper test participants who attended. Responding to this praise, Listyo thanked him for the support provided by Safarudin.

"Thank you, sir, you support us to become the millennial Police Chief," said Listyo.

As previously reported, Listyo did explain a number of reforms in the police sector in the fit and proper test as the sole candidate for Chief of Police. One of the things he touched on was about Virtual Police, which is different from Cyber Police.

Cyber police are known for enforcing the law when violations or crimes are found in cyberspace. Meanwhile, the virtual police will focus on matters of an educational nature for citizens or society in general.

"With virtual police, it is more aimed at educational matters, learning to engage the community, involving influencers who have quite a number of followers," he said.

Later, the work of the virtual police or the parties involved is to educate the public on how to use good social media, cultured and far from criminal acts or crimes.
