M Taufik's Body Will Be Buried At Al-Azhar Memorial Garden Karawang

The body of former Deputy Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Mohamad Taufik, will be buried at the Al-Azhar Memorial Garden Cemetery, Karawang, West Java, on Thursday (4/5).

"It will be buried at Al-Azhar Memorial Garden Karawang, Sakura Zone Block W 32, at 13.00 WIB," said Gerindra faction chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Nurhasan when confirmed, Wednesday, May 3.

Nurhasan said M Taufik's body was buried at his funeral home at Wisma Garuda Jalan SD Lama No. 2 Pondok Ranggon, East Jakarta. Furthermore, the body was dispatched to be buried in Karawang, West Java.

M Taufik died at Siloam Hospital, South Jakarta, due to illness. "Brother, our brother Mohammad Taufik died, Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 21.40 WIB," said Nurhasan.

Nurhasan also prayed that M Taufik's family would be given fortitude.

"Allahummaghfirlahu warhamhu wa'afihi wa'fu'anhu. May his deeds of worship be accepted, his mistakes and mistakes are forgiven and his grave is opened, the family left behind will be given fortitude," he said, quoted by ANTARA.

Deputy Chairman of the DKI DPRD Rani Mauliani said, Taufik is a parent and teacher for her.

"There must always be prayers for him, because for me in particular, he is a parent, teacher and one of the good political mentors," he said.

Taufik was the Deputy Chairman of the DKI DPRD for two terms, namely in 2014-2019 and 2019-2022. He was replaced by Rani Mauliani.
