Commemoration Of Labor Day 2023 Is Expected To Be A Momentum Of Togetherness Between Workers, Entrepreneurs, And The Government

JAKARTA - The Bandung City Government, West Java hopes that the commemoration of International Labor Day or May Day in 2023 will be a momentum for togetherness between workers, entrepreneurs and the government.

Therefore, said the Head of the Bandung City Manpower Office (Disnaker) Andri Darusman, the May Day 2023 commemoration must be held with joy through various positive activities. And in the City of Kembang there will be social services, blood donations, and outbounds for this year.

"Of the nine unions of gartek workers, there are those who carry out blood donation activities at PMI Jalan Aceh. There are also plans for outbound and social service activities that are attended by representatives of trade unions or labor unions, Apindo (Indonesian Entrepreneurs Association) and Manpower Office," Andri said in a written statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Monday, May 1.

Andri said the May Day celebration in Bandung City with the submission of aspirations would be centered in the Gedung Sate area and the rest would convey their aspirations to Jakarta.

To ensure that May Day celebrations run well and smoothly, the Bandung City Manpower Office also formed a monitoring team on duty on May 1, 2023, with the hope that the May Day implementation would run smoothly and be filled with positive activities.
