Captain And 5 Crew Members Of Calisca 01 Who Were Overturned In Inhil Were Secured By The Police

PeKANBARU - Riau Police Chief Inspector General Mohammad Iqbal revealed that his party secured the captain and five crew members (ABK) from the speed boat (fast boat)koalah Calisca 01 which overturned in the waters of the Fresh Water border between Kateman District and Bird Island, Thursday (27/4).

"The six people who were arrested consisted of SH, who is the captain, 4 crew members, each BP, H, A, and SP and the person in charge of shipping with the initials A," said Riau Police Chief, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, April 28.

Iqbal said that his party would conduct an investigation if there was an element of unlawful act or element of negligence or intent that caused a person's life.

"We will process it. We have secured several crew members and captains. Currently, we will conduct further inspections to carry out further processes," explained Iqbal.

After the opposite speedboatfilling Calisca 01 which killed 11 people, Iqbal together with the Commander of Korem 132/Wira Bima Brigadier General Dany Rakca Andalasawan and his entourage visited Raja Musa Sungai Guntung Hospital to see the condition of a number of survivors.

A number of victims who died have also been taken to the funeral home for burial.

In addition, Iqbal also briefly visited the Harbor of Syahbandar, which is the post for searching for victims.

"We express our condolences to the victims, especially those who died. Hopefully the victims Husnulkhatimah and the victims who are still being treated can be healthy soon," said Iqbal.

Speedboat (fast boat) warehousing Calisca 01 had an accident on Thursday (27/4) at around 13.40 in the waters of the Water Offering border between Kateman District and Bird Island.

Speedboatter is departing from Pelindo Tembilahan Port, Indragiri Hilir Regency, to Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands Province.

Calisca 01 is a type of passenger ship made in 2022 with the owner's name A. The ship is 14 meters long, 3 meters wide with a depth of 1.3 meters.
