PPATK Blocks 2 Accounts AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan Worth Tens Of Billions Of Rupiah

JAKARTA - The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) blocked two accounts of AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan. This is because it is indicated that there is a crime of money laundering (TPPU).

"It's true (blocking the account of AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan). There are indications of money laundering," said Public Relations of PPATK Natsir Kongah when confirmed, Thursday, April 27.

Of the two blocked accounts, it is stated that the number reaches tens of billions. However, the exact figure is reluctant to be mentioned.

"There are tens of billions," said Natsir.

Separately, PPATK Head Ivan Yustiavandana said that the alleged irregularities from AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan's account had been smelled for a long time. However, at that time the process was still being analyzed.

"Mami is in the process of being analyzed since the beating case emerged to the public. Incidentally, there are indications of irregularities in the source of the funds," said Ivan.

AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan is the former Head of the Bin Ops Section of the North Sumatra Police Narcotics Directorate. He was removed for allegedly allowing his son, Aditya Hasibuan, to persecute a student.
