Fire And Explosion Sound Appears, Rest Area KM 86 B Cipali Toll Road Temporarily Closed

The Rest area of KM 86 B Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) Toll Road was temporarily closed today following a burst of fire accompanied by the sound of explosions in the area. ASTRA Toll Operations Director Cipali, Agung Prasetyo, said that the burst of fire came from the location of the drill well located at the KM 86 B rest area of the Cipali Toll Road. For this incident, ASTRA Tol Cipali with the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of West Java Province, the Regional Disaster Management Agency, the Subang Fire Department and the local police immediately carried out security at the location of the fire. "The incident occurred this Wednesday at around 08:32 WIB," he said in a written statement received in Subang, Antara, Wednesday, April 26. Agung said that currently his party and related parties are securing the KM 86 rest area and also observing the bursts of fire that came out at the location. He conveyed, as a form of responsibility and efforts to handle security and safety for tenants, visitors and residents around the KM 86 B rest area, ASTRA Cipali Toll Road temporarily closed the rest area. ASTRA Cipali Toll Road also continues to observe in the field together with related parties so that the fireflow at that location can be extinguished immediately. "We apologize profusely to tenants, visitors and the public for the inconvenience that has occurred. We continue to make efforts to extinguish the fire at the location by coordinating with related parties,” he said.

Mentioned, his party appealed to road users who want to rest in the Cipali Toll rest area to rest in the next rest area or can exit the nearest toll gate to restore energy and body condition after tired of driving.
