Paving From Gerindra, Sandiaga Submits A Letter To Prabowo Via Dasco

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno officially said goodbye from the Gerindra Party. He left a letter to the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, through the Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad.

This was conveyed by Sandiaga after staying in touch at the official residence of the Deputy Chairperson of the DPR RI which was occupied by Dasco. He said there were a number of closed talks before this letter was delivered.

"The point is, please say goodbye," Sandiaga told reporters, Sunday, April 23.

Not only that, this moment of meeting was used by Sandiaga to convey some of his thoughts. "At the same time, if there have been mistakes so far, apologize physically and mentally," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the contents of the letter, Sandiaga did not want to talk much. He said, this submission was in accordance with the mechanisms, administration, political ethics that he had studied from Prabowo Subianto.

"What I feel is in the letter and I convey it to Pak Prabowo," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the letter, Dasco admitted that he had not read it. He said Prabowo should open it as general chairman.

"I haven't opened the letter yet," he said after the meeting.

Even so, Dasco confirmed that the deputy chairman of the Gerindra Party's Board of Trustees had said goodbye. "Furthermore, Pak Sandi will take or carry out new tasks elsewhere," said the Deputy Speaker of the DPR.

As previously reported, Sandiaga has been rumored to be moving to the United Development Party (PPP) for some time. Plt Chairman of PPP Mardiono hopes that his party and Sandiaga can jointly build the nation.

This was conveyed by Mardiono after receiving Sandiaga at his residence on Saturday night, April 22 yesterday in the context of friendship. He said, this service is expected to have an impact on the nation's development.

"Hopefully with this Eid Al-Fitr, in the future Pak Sandi can work together with PPP to serve, fight to build the nation and state," said Mardiono after meeting Sandiaga Uno.

Mardiono did not answer further regarding Sandiaga's move from the Gerindra Party to PPP. He only emphasized that every existing political dynamics was always his concern.
