Ganjar Reveals His Political Contract With Megawati, Anything?

Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo said PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri had never asked her cadres for anything. However, there are two political contracts that must be adhered to, one of which is to protect the constitution.

This was conveyed by the PDIP presidential candidate when interviewed by Najwa Shihab which was broadcast on Mata Najwa's YouTube today, Sunday, April 23.

"Mrs. Mega has only two contracts, really. Can we, one protect our constitution. Second, can we serve the people well," said Ganjar in the interview.

If the two things can be done by the cadres, Megawati then reminds them to prosper the people. "That's actually a very essential contract for me," said Ganjar.

Ganjar said that during his tenure as regional head Megawati had never made a special request. "Mrs. Mega never asked for anything," he said.

"Mrs. Mega is talking about research. How our food has research, good seeds, farmers are fulfilled," he continued.

"Implement what is the program. In this simple way, Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri, who may be considered by other people, is different," he said.

As previously reported, PDIP has finally officially announced Ganjar Pranowo, who has been touted as the White Rambut as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election. Megawati Soekarnoputri's official announcement as the General Chair of the PDIP.

"At 13.45 WIB, he appointed Ganjar Pranowo as a cadre and party officer to be assigned as a presidential candidate from the PDIP," said Megawati at the Batu Tulis Palace, Bogor, West Java, Friday, April 21.

Megawati was also accompanied by President Joko Widodo and Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani. Also present were PDIP DPP chairman Prananda Prabowo and PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto.
