Look At ASEAN Summit Preparations, President Joko Widodo Arrives In Labuan Bajo

JAKARTA - The President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo arrived in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara, Saturday night.

The president, who is familiarly called Jokowi, used a presidential plane and landed at Komodo Labuan Bajo Airport at 18.44 WITA.

President Jokowi's arrival to Labuan Bajo this time is for a personal agenda. It is not certain how long President Jokowi will be in Labuan Bajo.

Previously, President Joko Widodo and Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo performed Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri prayers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Surakarta City, Central Java Province, Saturday morning.

In a video conference with Vice President Ma'ruf Amin broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat's Youtube, Jokowi said he would visit Labuan Bajo.

"Until the afternoon, sir, later, with you first, finished, then to Labuan Bajo, checking ASEAN (Summit)," he said.
