Jakarta Archdiocese Congratulates Eid Al-Fitr For Muslims In Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Archdiocese of Jakarta (KAJ) together with Catholics congratulated Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri to Muslims in Indonesia. "Together with Catholics in the Archdiocese of Jakarta, I am Cardinal Ignatius Suharyo with sincerity and gratitude to wish you a happy 1 Syawal 1444 Hijriah to my Muslim brothers in Indonesia. Sorry born and inner," said KAJ Bishop Cardinal Ignatius Suharyo as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday 22 April. Ignatius Suharyo hopes that his blessings and rewards can reach the entire nation and the whole universe. Previously, the Ministry of Religion set 1 Syawal 1444 Hijriah or Eid Al-Fitr 2023 AD to fall on Saturday 22 April. The determination was made after an isbat session was held at the Ministry of Religion Building, Jakarta, Thursday 20 April.

Previously, President Jokowi congratulated Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri to all Indonesian people. For the first time, Jokowi performed Eid prayers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Solo, Central Java, Saturday morning. According to ANTARA's observations in the field, after performing Eid prayers, Jokowi walked out of the mosque together with the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo.
