KPK Observed Juliari Batubara's Special Direction In Bansos Corruption Case

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the special direction of former Social Minister (Mensos) Juliari Peter Batubara, in the case of providing social assistance (bansos) for the Jabodetabek area in 2020.

The KPK itself has examined the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) at the Ministry of Social Affairs Adi Wahyono (AW) as a witness for the suspect Juliari, on Friday, January 15. It is known that Adi is also one of the suspects in the case.

"Adi Wahyono, PPK in the social assistance project for Fiscal Year 2020, is still being investigated regarding the position of the witness as PPK and the alleged special direction from the JPB suspect in the provision of social assistance for the Jabodetabek area in 2020 at the Ministry of Social Affairs," said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri in his statement. , Sunday, January 17th.

Apart from Adi, the KPK has also examined two other witnesses for the suspect Juliari and his friends, namely the Manager of PT Pertani Muslih and Ivo Wongkaren from the private sector.

Witness Muslih, said Ali, examined his statement regarding the cooperation in the social assistance project for the Jabodetabek area in 2020 at the Ministry of Social Affairs.

"As well as explored the amount of the project budget value obtained from this cooperation and how much the budget value paid to the Farmers to PT Mandala Hamonangan Sude in this procurement," he said.

PT Mandala Hamonangan Sude is one of the partners providing social assistance for the Jabodetabek area in 2020.

Meanwhile, witness Ivo Wongkaren, the investigator, deepened his knowledge about the stages of the witness company so that he got the social assistance distribution project in the Jabodetabek area in 2020 at the Ministry of Social Affairs and the technical payments for this cooperation.

Apart from Juliari, the KPK has also named four other suspects, namely two Commitment Making Officials (PPK) at the Ministry of Social Affairs Matheus Joko Santoso (MJS) and Adi Wahyono (AW) and Ardian Iskandar Maddanatja (AIM) and Harry Van Sidabukke (HS) respectively. from the private sector.

Juliari is suspected of receiving bribes worth Rp. 17 billion from the "fee" for providing basic food social assistance for people affected by COVID-19 in Jabodetabek.
