Escorting Lebaran 2023 Homecoming, Police Establish 6 Security Posts In Bogor City

The Bogor City Police have formed six security posts and one service post to oversee the flow of homecoming and return and the Eid al-Fitr holiday in 2023.

Bogor City Police Chief Kombes Pol. Bismo Teguh Prakoso said the post was present from April 18-1 May 2023. A total of 350 joint TNI personnel and Satpol PP will be on standby at the Ketupat Operations Post for Lebaran 2023.

"For the preparation of Eid al-Fitr from Bogor City, especially from the Bogor City Police, we have formed six Pam posts and one integrated post, later on alert at several vulnerability points," he said after attending a cross-sectoral coordination meeting in 2023 in the context of preparing for the security of Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri at the Bogor City Police Headquarters, Thursday, April 6, which was confiscated by Antara.

Bismo explained that hundreds of personnel spread across the seven posts would secure a series of Eids starting from security and public order (kamtibmas) on the night of the takbir, monitoring of houses left for homecoming, to maintaining the conduciveness of the implementation of Eid prayers.

Officers also spread to markets, shopping centers, banking and financial centers, a number of tourist sites, recreation areas, pilgrimage places and security on the highway.

"Don't let it happen, maybe because it's quiet, maybe people are over speed, high speed, so that vulnerabilities cause accidents, we have to anticipate," he explained.

Bismo said joint officers would patrol empty houses left for homecoming in collaboration with the community, with relevant agencies and the TNI.

Bogor Police will reactivate the RW police who will start attending the apple on Saturday 8 April by inviting Bogor Mayor Bima Arya, Dandim, lurah, Kapolsek, Danramil, Bhabinkamtibmas and RW police, totaling 591 personnel.
