"Previously, IC went viral on social media because he took indecent pictures while at the top of Mount Agung and uploaded them on social media", said the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, Sugito, Wednesday, April 5.

This Russian foreigner lives in the Canggu area, North Kuta, Badung. This foreigner was summoned to the TPI Ngurah Rai Special Class I Immigration Office.

From the inspection, it was found that this foreigner entered I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport on February 12, 2023 with a Visa on Arrival (VoA).

Because he took a photo with his pants off at the top of Mount Agung, this foreigner had to follow a customary law procession before being deported.

The procession of the cleansing ceremony or Ngerapuh is carried out on Sunday, April 2 at the Pengubengan Besakih Temple, Karangasem Regency, Bali. This Caucasian prostrated himself to apologize to Bhatara Gunung Agung.

After that, this foreigner was deported from Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport on Tuesday, April 4 to his country using the Emirates airline.

"The deportation costs are entirely the responsibility of the person concerned. He has committed an immigration violation as referred to in Article 75 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning immigration, and the person concerned will be included in the list of deterrence", said Sugito.
