Listen! Here Are 10 Emergency Toll Roads That Can Be Used For The 2023 Eid Homecoming

YOGYAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono revealed a list of emergency toll roads that can be used for Eid Al-Fitr 2023 homecoming.

Minister Basuki in a Working Meeting with Commission V of the DPR, Tuesday, April 4, 2023, said that the emergency toll roads opened for homecoming were spread across Java and Sumatra. This toll road is only temporarily opened with several special mechanisms made by the police and business entities.

Basuki said, there are at least 10 emergency or functional toll roads that will be opened at Eid homecoming, including:

PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono has prepared the Cileunyi-Sumedang toll road lane, Dawuan (Cisumdawu) in West Java to facilitate the flow of the 2023 Eid homecoming.

Related to this, Basuki will functionally open the Cisumdawu toll road section 4.5, and 6 on April 15, 2023.

"With this, everything will pass from Bandung to Cirebon," said Basuki.

He conveyed that the operational mechanism would be given to Korlantas Polri as traffic controller.

"The use will depend on the policy of the Police in the field, maybe only one way from Bandung during homecoming and vice versa during backflow," said Basuki.

The emergency toll road for Eid homecoming is the next Cibitung-Cilincing toll road.

Section 4 Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road (JTCC) (Tarumjaya-Cilincing Segment) along 7.29 kilometers is opened functionally without tariffs to facilitate access to logistics for goods transportation from Tanjung Priok port to industrial areas and the flow of Eid homecoming.

The third emergency toll road for homecoming is the Ciawi-Sukami section. The Ministry of PUPR will operate functionally the Cigombong-Cibadak section for 11.9 km at the time of the homecoming flow.

The Cimanggis - Cibitung Toll Road, which is part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR 2) network structure, will also be operated functionally during Eid homecoming.

The Cimanggis-Cibitung toll road will operate temporarily, namely section 2A Jatikarya-Cikeas along 3.5 km.

The Pasuruan-Probolinggo (Paspro) Toll Road can be crossed by travelers who want to return to their hometowns.

At the moment of Eid Al-Fitr 2023 homecoming, the Ministry of PUPR will functionally operate Section 4A Probolinggo Timur-Gending.

"From Probolinggo Timur, it has reached the Interconnection Gending 8.6 km," said Basuki.

Parts of the Solo-Yogyakarta-NYIA Toll Road will also be opened functionally by the Ministry of PUPR.

The section that will be opened is from the Trans Java Toll Exit to the toll gate of Jalan Raya Sawit which is connected to the national Yogyakarta-Solo.

"It's only 6 km, but we've passed 5 traffic light so it's enough to help (the Congestion Village)," said Basuki.

The South Cikampek Jakarta (Japek II) toll road that will be opened functionally during Eid is the Sadang-Kutanegara and Sadang-Taman Mekar sections.

The Sadang-Kutanegara Section has a route length of 8.5 km and the Sadang-Taman Mekar is 28.9 km.

Turning to Sumatra Island, the emergency toll road for the eighth homecoming is part of the Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi Toll Road.

The sections that will be opened functionally are the Tebing Tinggi-Indrapura section and the Dolok Merawan-Sinaksak section. With a total length of toll roads reaching 44.1 km.

Part of the Sigli-Banda Aceh toll road will be opened by the Ministry of PUPR during Eid homecoming.

In this regard, the Ministry of PUPR will operate sections 5 and 6 of Blang Bintang - Kuto Baru - Baitussalam along 13 km.

The emergency toll road that can be used for the tenth Lebaran homecoming is part of the Binjai-Langsa toll road section. The part that is opened functionally is the 7.2 km Stabat-Tanjung Pura section.
