Mining Land Dispute, Police Arrest Public Relations Of PT JGA Involved In Premeditated Murder Of South Kalimantan Banjar Residents

BANJARMASIN - A joint team from the Banjar Police together with the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the South Kalimantan Police secured Public Relations of PT Jaya Guna Abadi (JGA) with the initials AB who was involved in the murder of a resident related to a mining dispute in Mengkauk Village, Pengaron District, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan.

"So the Public Relations Officer of JGA gave an order to suspect Y, who was first arrested in this case," said South Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Pol Andi Rian R Djajadi as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 4.

AB is still being investigated in depth to find out the extent of the order running because the police are still opening up opportunities for the involvement of other intellectual actors if they are sufficient for the evidence.

So far, four suspects have been arrested by the police as executors, namely Y, R, YF and S.

The Regional Police Chief said that at least five more wanted perpetrators were jointly involved in the murder of victim SB (63) whose body was found with sharp weapons and gunfire in the middle of a rubber plantation, including the owner and user of a firearm to shoot the victim, have been identified.

"We urge you to immediately surrender yourself properly if you don't want to take firm action when arrested," said the Kapolda accompanied by the Director of Criminal Investigation at the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Pol. Hendri Budiman and Banjar Police Chief AKBP M Ifan Hariyat.

Regarding the firearms used, the Kapolda confirmed that they were obtained from the manufacturer using a sharp bullet with a 9-millimeter caliber pistol.

The Forensic Laboratory Center (Puslabfor) has arrived to examine the evidence found by investigators at the scene so that in handling this case the South Kalimantan Police really prioritizes scientific crime investigations or scientific investigations carried out with the support of various disciplines, both pure science and applied science.

Investigators also apply Article 340 of the Criminal Code or the Criminal Code on Premeditated Murder of the suspects because the results of the investigation are planned one day before the incident.

"This is an act of thuggery in the mining world and this should not happen, therefore strict law enforcement must be carried out by the Police," said the Kapolda.
