The National Police Chief Leaves A Message To Brigadier General Endar Who Was Removed From The Director Of Investigation Of The KPK

Brigadier General Endar Priantoro admitted that he had met with the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo after being removed from the position of Director of Investigation of the KPK. During the meeting, there was a message conveyed by the National Police leadership.

"There is only one order, I carry out my duties," Endar told reporters, Tuesday, April 4.

The task in question is to remain based in the anti-corruption agency. The recommendation is of course a warrant (sprin) with the number SPRIN/904/III/KEP./2023, dated March 29.

"Yes," said Endar in response to the Chief of Police's orders against him, he was only asked to continue his duties.

Endar went to the National Police Chief shortly after receiving a decree (SK) for dismissal. The letter was submitted by KPK officials on March 31.

"I received the decree handed over by Mr. Ghufron, Mr. Secretary General, Mr. Karo Hukum, Karo HR, inspectors. They met me, I was asked to appear, I was shown the decree for the first time and the frontman, so after that I reported it," he said.

"The point is I don't accept the decree, or I will answer to accept, no. After the order of the National Police Chief was made regarding the implementation of my duties," continued Endar.

The one-star police general reiterated that he was only carrying out the order of the National Police Chief. He was asked to remain on duty at the KPK.

"As his subordinate, I ask for instructions on this decree, there is this face-to-face. Meanwhile, he has also issued a new warrant. The instructions are that I must continue to carry out my duties here (KPK, ed)," said Endar.

For information, Brigadier General Endar was dismissed from his position as Director of KPK Investigation by the KPK leadership on the grounds that his term of service had expired.

Endar's termination was stated in the decree of the Secretariat General of the KPK with number 152/KP.07.00/50/03/2023. The letter explained that Endar's tenure at the KPK had been completed on March 31, 2023.
