The Body Of Asy Habul Yamin Passenger Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 Handed Over To The Family

The delivery of the remains of the passengers of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane that crashed in the Thousand Islands in the name of Asy Habul Yamin to the family.

JAKARTA - The Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, again handed over the bodies of passengers on the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane which crashed in the Thousand Islands on behalf of Asy Habul Yamin.

He was one of three passengers identified by the Police Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) Team on Tuesday, January 12.

This handover was initiated by the National Police Hospital, which symbolically handed over to the Sriwijaya Air airline which was then passed on to the family.

"This afternoon we, from the DVI Polri Team, handed over the identified body of Asy Habul Yamin from the hospital to Sriwijaya," said the representative of the Police Hospital Kombes Rudatin at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, Thursday, January 14.

Furthermore, on this occasion a representative from the Directorate General of Dukcapil of the Ministry of Home Affairs immediately submitted population data consisting of an electronic identity card (e-KTP) and a family card fortunately for Asy Habul Yamin's wife and a death certificate.

After the procession was completed, Asy Habul Yamin's coffin was immediately put into a white ambulance.

Not a word from the family present. "The family is reluctant to provide any information," said Rudatin after the handover.

As of today, a total of two passenger bodies have been handed over to the family. Apart from Asy Habul, the National Police Hospital also handed over the body of Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 steward Okky Bisma which was then buried in the East Jakarta area.

As previously reported, the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 aircraft on the Jakarta-Pontianak route lost contact in the Thousand Islands shortly after taking off from Soekarno Hatta Airport on Saturday, January 9, 2020.

Furthermore, the authorities provide certainty if the plane crashed around Male Island and Lancang Island, Thousand Islands.

The total aircraft carried 62 people, including 12 crew members and 50 passengers consisting of 40 adult passengers, seven children and three babies.

Currently, only six passengers have been identified. They are Okky Bisma, Fadly Satrianto, Khasanah, Asy Hasbul Yamin, Agus Minarni, and Indah Halimah Putri.
