The KPK Searches The House Of The Director General Of The Ministry Of Social Affairs In Bekasi

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Task Force Team ransacked the house of the Director General of Social Protection and Security at the Ministry of Social Affairs (Dirjen Linjamsos Kemsos) Pepen Nazaruddin, Wednesday, January 13.

This search is related to investigations into cases of alleged bribery for the provision of social assistance (bansos) COVID-19 for the Jabodetabek area. This case has charged former Social Minister Juliari P Batubara and four other suspects.

Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri confirmed this search activity. Search a house in Bekasi City.

"Investigators are again conducting a house search at Prima Harapan Regency B4, Number 18, North Bekasi, Bekasi City," said Ali Fikri, Wednesday, January 13.

Unfortunately, Ali has not given any details about this search. Including anything that was confiscated from the house. This is because, said Ali, the search was still ongoing.

Ali promised everything would be delivered on time. "We will inform you of the progress further," said Ali.

Meanwhile, Pepen is currently being questioned by investigators at the KPK building, Jakarta. Pepen was examined as a witness to complete the case file for the owner of PT Tigapilar Agro Utama, Ardian Iskandar Maddanatja, who was the suspect in giving bribes to Juliari.
