Jusuf Kalla Asks The Mosque Takmir To Arrange The Use Of Loudspeakers According To The Allocation

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) Jusuf Kalla asked the mosque takmir to arrange the use of loudspeakers in accordance with the designation.

"We ask all mosque administrators to arrange the use of loudspeakers according to their needs," said Jusuf Kalla in his statement in Jakarta, Saturday, March 25, quoted by Antara.

Jusuf Kalla, who is familiarly called JK, gave an example, that outer loudspeakers are only used for the call to prayer and iqamat. As for Allahil Al-Quran, DMI asked mosque administrators to regulate the duration between 5-10 minutes before the call to prayer.

"Outer soundspeakers are only for the call to prayer, iqamat, with measurable volumes not surpassing each other's mosques and mosques. This is to maintain awareness, especially in the atmosphere of the holy month of Ramadan," he said.

The 10th and 12th Vice Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia explained that the holy month of Ramadan is always colored with the enthusiasm of Muslims to carry out worship. This, he said, made the atmosphere of the mosque more crowded than in other months.

"The Indonesian Mosque Council welcomes the enthusiasm of the community in prospering the mosque in this holy month of Ramadan. For this reason, in order for the implementation of worship to continue solemnly and solemnly, we ask mosque administrators to arrange the use of loudspeakers according to their designation," he said.

He added that DMI asked that the activities of remembrance, prayers of the imams, tahlil, praise barzanji, nasyid, religious songs, and the like should not use outside loudspeakers, including for seven minutes of college (cultum).

"However, if you want the use of loudspeakers, you should just use an inner loudspeaker," he said.
