JAKARTA - Video of passengers on the Super Air Jet route Bali-Jakarta complained that the overheating had gone viral on social media.

The reason is, the air conditioner on the flight died during the journey of 1 hour 50 minutes.

Responding to the complaint, the President Director of Super Air Jet, Ari Azhari, gave an explanation.

According to him, the Airbus IU-737 plane on the Bali route to Jakarta is actually worth flying. All aspects of flight procedures are carried out appropriately.

"The results of the inspection before departure show that all aircraft systems and equipment are in prime condition and ready to fly," said Ari in an official statement, Wednesday, March 22.

However, Ari admitted that the plane carrying 179 passengers and crew had problems with air pressure in the cabin not functioning properly.

"When it reaches 30,000 feet above sea level, there are indications that the air pressure control system in the cabin is not functioning properly (less than optimally), so the pilot must lower the altitude of the aircraft, this disturbance causes the air temperature in the cabin to be higher than it should be," he said.

For this incident, Ari also apologized to all the passengers of the flight. Ari said the plane had landed at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at 18.40 WIB.
