Provide 15 Buses, South Sumatra Provincial Government Facilitates Free Eid Homecoming 2023 To Java

PALEMBANG - The Provincial Government of South Sumatra provides free Lebaran 2023 homecoming services for purposes in the province and interprovincial, especially to Java Island.

Head of the South Sumatra Provincial Transportation Agency Ari Narsa said 15 buses had been provided that were ready to take the residents of South Sumatra back to their hometowns.

"The Lebaran homecoming bus vehicle is free to cover Palembang-Java, inter-city in the province and between provinces," he said.

The provision of each tourism bus for free homecoming is a collaboration between the South Sumatra Provincial Government and Bank Sumsel Babel and three state-owned companies (PT Jasa Raharja Palembang, PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja, and PT Bukit Asam).

The fleet, among others, for majoring outside the province, includes the Palembang-Terminal Tirtonadi Solo route, Central Java with three units, Palembang-Padang Sidempuan, North Sumatra with two units.

In addition, Palembang-Bukit Tinggi, West Sumatra one unit and Palembang-Solok-Lubuk Basung, West Sumatra one unit.

For routes within the province, including Palembang-Muara Enim-Lahat-Tebing Tingi one unit, Palembang-Lahat-Pagar Alam-Dempo two units.

The destinations of Palembang-Musi Banyuasin-Musi Rawas-Lubuk Linggau-North Musi Rawas are three units, Palembang-Kayu Agung-Belitang-Muara Dua is one unit, and Palembang- Baturaja-Martapura-Muara Dua is two units.

He explained that people who plan to go home for Lebaran will immediately register on the conditions of domiciled in South Sumatra as evidenced by an Identity Card (KTP).

"Also direct registration is provided at the South Sumatra Provincial Transportation Office post, Captain A. Rivai Street," he said.

The provincial government opened registration services on April 15, 2023, departures are planned to be held on April 19, 2023, at 08.00 WIB. Departure location at Alang-Alang Lebar Terminal, Palembang.
