PALEMBANG - A young resident of Empat Lawqqang Regency, South Sumatra (Sumsel) was reported missing in the swift current of the Ulu Musi River. It is suspected that the victim was carried away by the river current which overflowed during heavy rains.

Head of the Palembang Basarnas Hery Marantika said the victim was a man named Pok (30), a resident of Bandar Agung Village, Pendopo, Emapat Lawang.

The victim disappeared while crossing the Ilu Musi River bridge, Bandar Agung Village this morning at 06.00 WIB.
