BMKG Predicts Light Rain To Fall In Parts Of Indonesia

JAKARTA - Most areas in Indonesia are predicted to receive light rain.

Quoting the BMKG's official website in Jakarta, the areas that are predicted to experience light rain during the day are Yogyakarta, Gorontalo, Jambi, Banjarmasin, Palangkaraya, Mataram, Kupang, Manokwari, Makassar, Manado, Palembang and Medan.

There will also be heavy rain which will be accompanied by thunder and lightning during the day, which has the potential to fall in Bandung, Pontianak, and Bandar Lampung.

Quoting Antara, during the day in Denpasar, Jakarta, Semarang, Samarinda, Pangkal Pinang, Tanjung Pinang, Ambon, Ternate, Jayapura City, Mamuju and Padang will experience cloudy weather.

While during the day Banda Aceh, Serang, Bengkulu, Surabaya, Tarakan, Pekanbaru, and Kendari have the potential to experience cloudy skies.

Then at night, light rain is predicted to fall in Yogyakarta, Gorontalo, Bandung, Bengkulu, Palangkaraya, Ambon, Samarinda, Jayapura City, Pekanbaru, Manado, and Medan.

Rainy weather with moderate intensity at night will fall in Surabaya. Meanwhile, heavy rain accompanied by lightning and thunder has the potential to flush Jambi, Banjarmasin, and Mamuju.

BMKG predicts that today's temperature will range from 19 to 33 degrees Celsius, where the humidity level is 60 to 100 percent.
