JAKARTA - HR (46), the perpetrator of the stabbing of the victim SRS (43), a illegal parking attendant (jukir), could only surrender when he was led by members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police. With a shabby face, the perpetrator seemed to be walking casually.

From the results of the investigation by the Central Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim, the stabbing perpetrator with the initials HR (46) was apparently arrested while hiding at his parents' house in the Cengkareng area, West Jakarta. When arrested, HR wanted to escape but was thwarted by officers.

"We arrested the perpetrator in the Cengkareng area at his parents' house. We arrested him 6 hours after the incident," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin when contacted, Friday, March 17.

Kombes Komarudin explained that the motive for the parking attendant's stabbing case was still being investigated. However, both are suspected of having a grudge. The perpetrator tried to escape after knowing the arrival of the officers.

"The motive is still being investigated. When officers arrived, the perpetrator was hiding to escape but the officers managed to arrest him," he said.

Gambir Metro Police Chief, Kompol Mugia Yarry Junanda confirmed the stabbing incident that killed a parking attendant.

"That's right (there was a stabbing of the victim to death). Until now, what we know is that according to witnesses there was a commotion. The victim was chased by the perpetrator, then there was a stabbing," said Kompol Mugia when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, March 16.
