AGO Calls BTS Bakti Kominfo Condition Not In Accordance With Report

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) said that it had directly examined the condition of the 4G Base Transceiver Station (BTS) and Bakti infrastructure of the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) in several areas. "We conveyed that a while ago we had sent a team to several areas to check the location and most of the results were not in accordance with what was officially reported to us, most of the conditions were not appropriate," said Deputy Attorney General's Director for Special Crimes Kuntadi to reporters, Wednesday, March 15. Several BTS examined were in the areas of NTT, Papua, Maluku, Sulawesi, and others. However, the signal transmitter tower did not elaborate further. "From the results of the examination, we consider it sufficient and then we will conduct a case title in the fastest possible time," said Kuntadi. The AGO has named five suspects. They include Anang Achmad Latif (AAL) as the President Director of BAKTI, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Gahole Menak (GMS) as the President Director of PT Mora Telematika Indonesia, and Yohan Suryanto (YS) as a Human Development (HUDEEV) expert at the University of Indonesia in 2020. Then, there is also Mukti Ali, a suspect from PT Huwaei Technology Investment and Irwan Hermawan as Commissioner of PT Solitchmedia Synergy.
