SEMARANG - The police arrested a gang of robbers who drove online taxi drivers in Boyolali Regency, Central Java, who acted using homemade firearms to frighten their victims.

The victim was transferred to another car used by the gang before finally being dumped in the Ngemplak area, Boyolali Regency.

The perpetrator took away the car, cell phone, and money belonging to the victim.

According to him, the five perpetrators were arrested at a hotel in the Bandungan area, Semarang Regency, all at once.

For their actions, the perpetrators were charged with Article 365 of the Criminal Code concerning theft.
