Seconds Bus Hits Motorcyclists In Cirebon Kills Father And Son

The seconds of the deadly collision involving a bus and motorbike were recorded on CCTV around the location. The incident killed a motorcyclist riding a father and son.

Head of the Cirebon City Police Traffic Unit, Adjunct Commissioner of Police Triyono Raharja, said the collision began when the Setia Negara bus drove from Central Java to Indramayu on Wednesday, March 8.

When he was at the scene of the incident, Captain Samadikun Street, the bus tried to overtake the vehicle in front of him.

However, from the opposite direction came the victim's motorbike and the bus driver could not avoid it, resulting in an accident that resulted in the death of the motorcyclist.

"From the surveillance camera, the speed of the bus vehicle was quite high and when trying to overtake it could not avoid it, it hit a motorcycle," he said in Cirebon, West Java, Wednesday, March 8, which was confiscated by Antara.

Currently, the Cirebon City Police are handling the case of the deadly collision of the Setia Negara bus number E-7742-YC with a motorcycle number E-6879- CL which resulted in the death of a father and son at the scene due to a violent collision.

The victims who died were Asep (44) and Dafa (16), both of whom were taken to the Gunung Jati Regional Hospital (RSD), Cirebon City.
