BMKG: Jakarta Residents Beware Of Rain Accompanied By Lightning

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reminded Jakarta residents to be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning on Monday 11 January.

"Be aware of the potential for rain which can be accompanied by lightning / lightning and strong winds in the South Jakarta (South Jakarta), East Jakarta (East Jakarta) and West Jakarta (West Jakarta) areas between the noon and the afternoon," BMKG wrote on its official website, reported by Antara.

BMKG estimates that the weather conditions in Jakarta throughout Monday from morning to night are cloudy to moderate rain.

BMKG data Monday morning stated that the administrative areas of West Jakarta, North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are expected to experience light rain in the morning.

Meanwhile, in Central Jakarta, South Jakarta and East Jakarta, the weather is predicted to be sunny and cloudy.

Then entering the afternoon, the administrative area of West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta is predicted to have light rain, while South Jakarta and East Jakarta experience moderate rain. For the Thousand Islands it is estimated that the weather is cloudy.

Entering the evening, the weather in all administrative areas of DKI Jakarta except the Thousand Islands is predicted to be cloudy. Meanwhile, the Thousand Islands will experience moderate rain.

Meanwhile, the air temperature is estimated to be around 24-32 degrees Celsius. West Jakarta will be in the range of 25-32 degrees, Central Jakarta 25-31 degrees.

Next, South Jakarta and East Jakarta are estimated to be in the range of 24-32 degrees, while North Jakarta is in the range of 25-32 degrees, and the Kepulauan Seribu at 26-31 degrees.

For air humidity, BMKG estimates it will be in the range 80-95 percent. West Jakarta will range from 80-95 percent, Central Jakarta 85-95 percent.

Then, South Jakarta and East Jakarta, are also estimated to be in the range of 80-95 percent of the degree, for North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands, 75-90 percent.

Meanwhile, BPBD DKI Jakarta stated that the water level in various areas in Jakarta until Monday morning was normal.
