Bogor Police Take Strict Action On Noisy Exhausts, 30 Motorcycles Are Secured

Motorcyclists who use noisy exhausts are tilted in Bogor (BOGOR POLICE)

A total of 30 motorbikes were secured by Bogor City Police officers from the West Java Regional Police in taking action against the Brong exhaust or noisy exhaust in the One-way System (SSA) ring of the Bogor Palace, Tuesday, March 7 in the morning.

Bogor City Police Chief Kombes Bismo Teguh Prakoso explained that the action against Brong exhaust is part of an Enhanced Routine Activity (KRYD).

"The action against the Brong exhaust aims to maintain regional conduciveness," said Kombes Bismo in his statement, Tuesday afternoon.

More than that, enforcement is carried out to discipline the public so that they always comply with traffic regulations, especially to use standard exhausts.

"Because the use of Brong exhaust is prohibited and greatly disturbs the comfort of the community. We will continue to educate the public to always be orderly in traffic," he explained.

Meanwhile, the Head of Traffic for the Bogor City Police, Kompol Galih Apria, added that in addition to securing 30 motorbikes that used noisy exhausts, his party also secured 10 motorbikes that were not accompanied by road equipment or could not show vehicle documents.

"All of us have data and we provide education about traffic order. For motorists who use Brong exhaust, we will still take firm action," he concluded.

Interestingly, in taking action against the noisy exhaust, the Head of Bogor City Police, Kombes Bismo Teguh Prakoso, went directly to the road with the Head of Binmas, Traffic Head, Kaurmin for drugs, members of the quick response (QR) Polres and QR Polsek, members of traffic to Raimas Polresta Bogor City.
