Cirebot City Government Disconnects Assistance For MSMEs, Sekda: Enough

JAKARTA - The Government of Cirebon City, West Java (West Java) in 2021 will no longer provide assistance to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Assistance is only provided in the aspect of coaching so that they can enter and compete in the online market.

"In 2021 we will not provide assistance to MSMEs," said Cirebon City Regional Secretary Agus Mulyadi in Cirebon as reported by Antara, Sunday, January 10.

According to him, the direct assistance provided by the Cirebon City Government for MSMEs was considered sufficient at the beginning of the outbreak of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Because at this time, economic activity during the adaptation period for new habits (IMR) is back on track and MSME players have also returned to action.

"The rocks are considered sufficient, especially now that the economy is also running again," he said.

He said that in 2021 the Cirebon City Government would focus on providing guidance for MSMEs to enter the digital world.

Because currently, Agus continued, the digital world is developing so fast, that his party will provide training for them to enter the online market.

"For now, we are focused so that these MSMEs can transform into the digital world," he said
