The old mode of theft by breaking the car window is still happening in the East Jakarta area. Two perpetrators were caught on CCTV cameras breaking car windows parked on Jalan Kalisari Raya, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta.

They were recorded stealing a number of electronic items and documents belonging to the victim. Based on CCTV camera footage, one of the two perpetrators got out of his vehicle and targeted a car parked in front of an office on Jalan Kalisari Raya, Pasar Rebo. The perpetrator then broke the windshield on the right side of the car.

From the information of one of the employees, Jufri said, the perpetrators, after breaking the glass, first monitored the situation. When deemed safe, the perpetrator immediately grabbed a number of valuables, namely laptops, vehicle documents and other important documents.

"Yesterday's police arrived, but it has not been reported," he told reporters, Monday, March 6.

After getting the target item, the two perpetrators immediately fled. In the action, the perpetrators took advantage of the quiet situation, although there were some passing motorists but they were not aware.

"The perpetrator saw people, then broke the glass. He jumped into the car and took things and ran away. After successfully taking the bag, the perpetrator immediately fled using the motorbike that his friend had been waiting for," he said.
