Alleged Agents And Naughty Bases Selling 3 Kg Gas Above HET, Cianjur Police Intervene

Investigators from the Cianjur Police conducted an investigation into alleged violations of gas sales of 3 kilograms across the ray and the determination of the highest retail price (HET) at the agent and base level in the area.

Cianjur Police Chief AKBP Doni Hermawan said he had instructed the Satreskrim ranks to check violations directly to agents and bases.

"I ask the Satreskrim to check all existing agents, including to ensure that no subsidy gas for Cianjur is sold out or cross rayon which can harm the community," he said in Cianjur, West Java, Wednesday, March 1, as reported by Antara.

His party will also oversee policies that have the potential to harm the community from the National Oil and Gas Entrepreneurs Association (Hiswana Migas) in line with the HET increase that has been set by the Cianjur Regency Government, only occurs at the agent and base level.

"We have instructed members and ranks to monitor so that nothing can harm the community as recipients of subsidies. We will take firm action when we find rogue agents or bases selling 3 kilograms of gas above HET," he said.

Doni added that his party would still process the law before the new HET Decree turned out to be a violation because it did not fall due to HET adjustments.

"It will still be dealt with and the legal process before or after the HET increase if there are findings of violations," he said.

Chairman of Hiswana Migas DPC Cianjur Hedi Permadi Boy said violations were if the distribution of 3 kg gas starting from selling above HET and cross rayon was still happening, while there were regulations for selling between regions not allowed.

"Most of the cross-ray sales are found on the border with other areas, such as in Gekbrong District with Sukabumi Regency and the border with West Bandung," he said.

"Including violations committed by agents and bases selling 3 kilograms of gas above HET, even before adjustments were made, the price at the agent level was Rp. 14,500 and at the base was Rp. 16,000 but the reality on the ground was more expensive," said Hedi.
