MENTOK - West Bangka Resort Police, Bangka Belitung Islands Province seeks to increase the active role of citizens in maintaining security and order situation through the Community Police Partnership Forum (FKPM).

"So far, there have been several villages that have succeeded in forming FKPM, we are trying to get all 66 villages and sub-districts in West Bangka to form this community group", said the Head of the West Bangka Police Binmas Unit AKP Edwar as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, February 24.

"This FKPM is a forum for cooperation and partnership between the police and the community which is expected to overcome various problems that often arise in society, such as social problems, disturbances in security and social order, disaster management, and even prevention of drug abuse", he said.
