Bawaslu Highlights Etika Pantarlih When Matching Voter Data In Riau Islands, Including RT Coordination Obligations

KEPRI - Bawaslu asked voter data updating officers (Pantarlih) who made matches and research (collit) of voter data for the 2024 General Election to coordinate with the head of the local RT.

"Coordination with the head of the RT is one of the obligations that must be done alternately when matching and researching voter data in residents' homes. "Against these findings, PKD also verbally reprimanded pandarih so as not to repeat it again. The most basic ethical in matching and research is to introduce yourself," he said.

Previously, KPU member Kepri Parlindungan Sihombing asked residents not to serve panderalih members who were not equipped with identity cards.

Residents have no obligation to serve people who claim to be members of the training but do not show their identity cards.

Residents also have the right to see the ID cards of the selected members to confirm whether the photos on the alternating cards are the same as the ID cards.

All students are required to wear attributes in the form of hats, vests and identity cards when matching and examining voter data.

The number of students who were inaugurated a day ago reached 5,882 people, the same as polling stations (TPS). Each member is tasked with matching and researching voter data that is in one polling station.

"If residents are in doubt, they must convince residents by showing their identity cards and ID cards. This is solely so that the voter data collection process takes place properly, so that other parties do not take advantage of their duties to commit actions that harm the community," he said.
