For your information, the Getaci Toll Road along 206.65 km passes through two provinces, namely West Java Province with a length of 171.4 km and Central Java Province with a length of 35.25 km.

For stage 1, it consists of Section 1 JC Gedebage-SS Garut Utara, and Section 2 SS Garut Utara-SS Tasikmalaya. Then, stage 2, consists of Section 3 SS Tasikmalaya-SS Patimuan, and Section 4 SS Patimuan-SS Cilacap.

As previously reported, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) will re-tender the business of the Getaci Toll Road starting next April.

Director General of Highways of the Ministry of PUPR Hedy Rahadian explained that this re-auction was carried out because there had been a default contract that had been previously determined.

"We are asking the Minister for directions regarding the Getaci Toll Road (tender), hopefully, it will take about two months (April) to re-auction," he told reporters, Wednesday, February 8.

Hedy said that the auction for the construction of the toll road would no longer be an initiative, but a solicited project.

"So, we auctioned it with solicited. It is likely to be made gradual, so the first stage we auctioned was Gedebage up to Tasikmalaya," he said.

Furthermore, said Hedy, the construction work will experience setbacks and cannot be carried out starting this year. Constructions are likely early next year for stage 1, he said.
