When confirmed in Solo, Saturday, Kliwon Market Sub-district Head Ahmad Khoironi said the refugee who died was Thamrin, aged 85 years.
"He is already old, (died) not because (of the impact) of the flood," he said, as reported by Antara.
He said the plan was for the male citizen who lived in Palugunan, RT 01/RW 01, Kedunglumbu Village to be buried at the Danyung Public Cemetery (TPU).
"The plan is to be buried today at the local TPU, the TPU will not be flooded," he said.
Meanwhile, he said, until now almost all refugees in the Kliwon Market area have returned to their respective homes following the receding puddles.
"The affected have receded, last night they returned to their respective homes. The sequence was a bit yesterday afternoon," he said.
